Krista’s extensive history of 30+ years in the communication, sales and marketing field has imprinted the importance of helping individuals reach their goals in a manner that is collaborative, positive and resourceful. As a Certified Executor Advisor, I work with a team of specialists to help clients realign their financial expenditures to protect what matters most in the areas of estate, wealth and financial planning.
I have worked extensively in the areas of business development and practice management. Since 1981, I have worked across Canada in the financial services industry as a product and marketing specialist, customer service representative and small business consultant where I helped independent advisors, entrepreneurs, and clients achieve their business and personal financial objectives. I joined HUB Financial (the largest Financial and Insurance Brokerage in North America) in 1998, and as Regional Vice President successfully developed the Prairie Region into one of the most successful regions in the country. Also, I was involved in the initial planning and implementation of HUB’s mutual fund dealership, HUB Capital Inc.
I have served on many industry focus group panels and corporate strategic-planning initiatives. I have served on the executive board for Advocis, the Canadian Association of Financial & Insurance Advisors. In addition to my professional affiliations, I stay active in my community and was one of the founding directors of the Kiwanis Club of the Calgary Metro area.

Greetings, I’m happy to introduce myself. Prior to my current role, I spent 30 years as a successful National Advertising Executive in the broadcast field of radio sales. The time spent in this capacity highlighted my ability to connect with people on a professional yet personal level, setting the stage for an environment of trust and guidance. Within the past two years, I experienced the personal loss of two close family members, which began a journey of education and enlightenment involving the familial stages of terminal illness, grief, and death and the task of the transfer of family assets. This resulted in my full-time commitment to the field of estate and testator family planning with the intention to become a valuable, sensitive, and knowledgeable advisor.
Kerry and I live in Calgary and have 3 adult children: Matthew, who lives in Vancouver with his wife, Ali; Trevor and his wife Amy, also in Calgary, with their son Dax and daughters Wren and Harvie and Colton of Calgary. As much as we enjoy our beautiful city, province, and country, we also enjoy exploring new cultures. As quoted by the infamous Zig Ziglar, “What you get by reaching your destination isn’t nearly as important as what you become by reaching that destination.”
